The University Blacks were pleased to see a terrific response to the PMY Uni Blacks Academy Careers Night, which was held in the Melbourne University Pavilion last week.
Approximately 50 Blacks players - both currently studying and post graduate – were on hand to listen to a fantastic panel which was largely made up of both current and past University Blacks and MUWFC players.
The panel shared a number of tips and insights into career management, networking, profile building and how to navigate your way through what is a highly competitive recruitment market.
Nick Martin, a former Blacks player and now Director of Miller Leith – who are a major Blacks sponsor and recruitment partner – gave a number of valuable insights through the eyes of a recruiter and an important list of do's and don'ts in an interview situation.
The night concluded with our players taking the chance to network with our panel and it was great to see these young men taking full advantage of the generosity of our panel members listed below and to whom we are greatly indebted.
